Sparkling Wine for the New Year, Part II

With New Years Eve nearly upon us, the time has come to begin that annual ritual for ringing in the year the way it should be: With a great glass of wine in our hands. Personally, I’ll be starting with La Marca Prosecco, a wine that embodies everything that has made Prosecco so justifiably popular. And at just $17 (and often less) per bottle, there’s a good chance I’ll be popping the corks on several tonight.

La Marca Prosecco
Aromas of honey, sweet apple, a touch of orange oil, and a hint of flowers turn to flavors of peach, nectarine, apple, orange blossom, and honey tuille, as well as the suggestion of lemon-gel candy, all lifted by mouth-watering acidity and rooted in a fine sense of balance. In other words, it’s perfect for sipping on its own or alongside whatever it is you might be enjoying for New Years Eve dinner. Drink now, and often.
