Review Policy

I happily accept wine, spirit, beer, and food samples for review, but with the understanding that I will only cover what I can write about positively, both here and in the other publications to which I contribute. In other words: If I like it, I’ll write about it. Once samples are received, I will allow them to rest in a proper environment before assessing them. Everything is tasted and given the same amount of consideration for coverage, though there is no set schedule for doing so. For the next week, I'll be on a wine-tasting trip to Israel and will report back when I return. I plan on having some great video and stacks of tasting notes to share right here.

For now, however, I'd like to announce a luxury tour, with Wine On The Road, to Champagne, France, that I'll be hosting with wine writer Ben Weinberg and Chef Daniel Stern of R2L Restaurant in Philadelphia from November 11 - 18, 2012. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime, behind-the-scenes tour of the region, with Micheline-starred meals, 5-star accommodations, and more Champagne than you've ever consumed in your life.
